By Rachel Puryear

If you’re considering a career shift, or you want to learn new skills and brush up on old ones; Udemy is an online learning platform where you can choose from many thousands of courses to help you accomplish those goals. Here’s a way to access this rich personal and professional development resource, for free:

Many libraries, K-12 schools, and colleges and universities in the U.S. offer free access to courses on Udemy through Gale Presents. To find out if a library in your area – or your school or college if you are a student – offers this valuable service, click here and perform a search of the libraries in your area and/or the school(s) you attend, to find out if they offer this service. If none in your area offer the service, search nearby areas.

If you want to access Udemy through Gale Presents through a library, you will need a library card from that library. If you don’t have a library card from that library, then go to that library’s website to find out what you need to do in order to get one.

With a library card or student ID/school registration information, you can register through Gale Presents to access Udemy courses online. With your account, you have access to a wide variety of courses, and plenty of choices of learning subjects that can enhance your career, and/or help you learn about something you are interested in knowing more about. Happy learning!

Thank you, dear friends, for reading, following, and sharing. Here’s to continuing to learn and grow throughout your lifetime.
